Various Stages Of My Rio 125 Over The Last Two Years

Fantastic tank! Rated for a 20x an hour turnover seems like a lot too, but is obviously brilliant for the tank.
Why did you take it down, just to try with something new?
Also, I noticed you were using a hydor CO2 turbo diffuser, how did you find it?
If you used the whole hydor kit, how was it for you, and was it OK with a 2kg bottle? I've orderd one an dam still waiting for it to arrive after two weeks :X .
Thanks, planted tanks need a lot of turnover, specially heavy planted ones.
Just its time I tried something different and was having a lot of problems with the tank after a bad batch of fish I purchased that eliminated most of my stock.
The Hydor CO2 diffusor works pretty well, I am trying now a glass diffusor and have a DIY CO2 reactor on the way to try that also.
The Hydor kit I have didn't work with a 2kg bottle, I purchased another kit but used the hydor diffusor still for a while with it. If you have the professional set with the gauges you can actually but an adpter so you can use bigger standard bottles with it.

Stunning tank mate and a bit of inspiration toward mine :good:
BTW what fish do you have?
Many thanks, I had in the tank:

2 Bosemani Rainbow
2 Ottos
10 Harlequin Rasbora
1 Clown Pleco
2 Corrydoras
10 Amano Shrimp
20 Red Cherry Shrimp

I have left:

2 Bosemani Rainbow (plus 4 fry, they bred in the tank)
3 Ottos
5 Harlequin Rasbora
1 Clown Pleco
1 Betta Splender

Nice tank.

Many thanks :)

Comments much appreciated :) Thanks everyone

just a question, what was the flow rate of Co2 that you were using?
Hi, I use a drop checker with 4dkH water to measure the CO2 content of the water, I always kept it yellowish green, just under the limit that my fish would not be poisoned by CO2.

Check this article: http://www.ukaps.org/drop-checker.htm thats what helped me maintain the right levels.

that tank is sensational!

i would love one like that, but i use a UGF =(

damn, thats bea-UTIFUL!

Tank is not dead after all, while doing some test I did a temporary scape until I organize the stuff for the future complete redo of the tank, here how it looks now:
