And I know this is non-related to the topic at hand, but the last 4 shots were taken just before I went to see The War of The Worlds which was a really bad movie. Don't believe the hype.

This is a bad pic (cause of the screen door) of a bird eating the dogs food. He spends a lot of time chasing these birds out of the yard. They are known as noisy miner birds and are very common where I live. They are small birds yet can kill a lot of other larger Australian birds.

Lovely animals! It's so cool how it is getting cold where you live. It was in the 90's today, hottest June we've had in YEARS. Ugg I'm so glad we have central air, but my poor horse was sweating so bad, he resorted to drinking some of my gatorade while I was unsaddling him

My definition of cold may be different to yours then. for the last week or so the average temp has been around 60F. 90F= approx 32degC which is normal summer weather.

I start shivering when it gets below 20degC (68F)

That bird is actually and "Indian Mynah" or also known as a Common Mynah bird.
They are very intelligent birds and unfortunately also "infest" parts of South Africa and drive the indigenous birds away
And incredibly noisy little buggers they are indeed !

Yes and in South Africa my dogs always slept under blankets in the "winter" when it hit anything below 20 degrees Celsius !
