Probably good advice when you go to ANY fish store. Last Friday I ended up with a new betta that I just happened to see at Petsmart and just HAD to have. Good thing my wife loves fish too.

I have been to Wholesale Tropicals plenty of times, got my pleco and some tank decorations from there. There is also 2 good fish stores in Central London. I like Aquatic Design Centre in Great Portland Street. It's on 2 floors, downstairs have some amazing fish, especially an absolutely huge Moray Eel. Another one I like is Chee Aquatics on Marcmont Street near Russell Sq/King's Cross. It's a small shop, but staff there is very friendly.
