Ok I know you are supposed to use the siphon to vacuum and water change all at once but I like to clean my tank once every two weeks but dont want to change the water all the time. (alot of times by the time i am done vacumming I loose too much water or the water just doesnt need to be changed at that time.) I tried those little self powered vacuums and the air vacs but those only get the stuff thats big. I have heard of other people attaching their vacuums to their filters or power heads to clean and say it works really well for when you want to keep the water. I have a Via Aqua Canister filter thats self powered and was wondering if I could just hook my syphon up to this? If not can I hook it into a power head? If yes which do you recomend. I am buying one anyway for tank circulation and need a good reccomendation.
