I'm after some advice on light tubes, bare with me as i try to explain.
I had a Hagen SunGlo lamp in my tropical tank and it gave an yellow/orange looking light output.
I then dug out an old Zoomed Reptisun UVB 5 lamp and tried this, it gave out a much nicer white/blue light output.
Is there any problem in using one of these lights. This is an old tube so the UVB output will be non existant, so the only thing different is the colour temp output.
Thanks

Maybe post your question in the house hold pets forum , a lizard keeper may see it .

bulbs/tube loose their intensity , and there usefulness lessons over time .

It would be fine for fish, not sure how well plants would do though.
