US and Imperial gallons, litres...

Goodaye lateral, my main drink is VB which is a bitter not a larger. Largers are not my favourite beer also. I agree they are watered down pale ales. Although the premium largers like crown are real smooth. Why do you and khs666 think larger is the only beer we have? Of course I,ve tasted real english ale on tap as well as a hundred other beers from all over the world. Were not that backward here! A great local beer is redback which is a wheat beer. Youre right about the best beers are on tap at the private brewers which we have plenty of. One of my favourite english beers is old peculiar although we cant get it on tap. But at $3.80 for a 250ml stubbie its only a treat once and awhile for me. English ale is nice tasting but its really "heavy". It makes you feel full like youve eaten. I once drunk 120 VB cans in one session(over 4 days) but I couldn,t do that with english ale. As for coffee I think a nice dark roasted italian filtered coffee is the best. :p

ps: sorry to the thread starter for getting off track.

Hey, no problem, I've found that it's even to be expected at forums of any kind. ;)

Still, if anyone has anything to say about the question about a possible website in my previous post, I'd be happy to hear it.

Think about your target audience. If it is US based, use US gallons, otherwise use Imperial.

Better to use all units, or if you decide on one, make it absolutely clear what the units are and always post a link there which shows the alternatives.
