Hi,
Thanks for all the advice. I am still having issues though! I haven't lost anymore fish (touch wood) but my tank is still doing nothing. I am still getting ammonia readings, but no nitrates or nitrites. I have been water changing probably 20-30% as my ammonia levels have gone up to 1 now. I am a bit worried to take out too much water though, as I need there to be ammonia present to start the cycle again surely?
It's as if the tank just won't kick start into a cycle, and instead is lying dormant.
This is also having an effect on my fish as my Angel's pop eye has flared up again, just as it was disappearing, and one of my female bolivians also seems to be suffering with the same thing. I have therefore treated the tank with Myxazin again and will continue with this treatment in the hopes it will help these fish - it shouldn't affect the cycling though should it?
