HELP = I may have unintentionally adopted a Chinese algae eater!!Worried it may attack my weatherloach and goldfish.

I've just adopted an unwanted fish that was described as a Yellow Loach,It;s about 4in including tail, yellow orange with black eyes. Slightly thicker and less eel like than my weather loach.I adopted it thinking it was a yellow weatherloach and would be a good friend for my brown weatherloach. Google photo of yellow weather loach is nothing like it, worried it mAy be Chinese algae eater. Record of constantly attacking angelfish rang alarm bells
It's in with a weather loach, goldfish (moving to outdoor tank soon) and plec who get catfish pellets and fresh veg every day. I;m assuming it eats the same food ?
What species is it?
What does it eat?
Are they aggressive - will it kill my weatherloach and goldfish? (former owner got rid of it as he said it was attacking and killing angelfish)

does it look like this fella? link
Yes the orange one, thanks. Checked it out. It's definitely algae eater as it has those telltale "holes" above its gills. I've isolated it temporarily in spare tank to stop it killing my poor loach and goldies but need to rehome urgently as spare tank has no heater or filter. Will it be OK in cichlid tank with jewels and cons and L001 plec or will it attack my cichlids too? Can't take any risks with my precious pets. These things are a menace and shouldn't be sold to unsuspecting people. The previous owner got it as a 2in cute baby last Oct and now it's killing large angels!

Please, please can someone offer this fish a home. Really hate the idea of having to destroy a healthy young fish but Pets at Home won't take it and I'm desperate. I can't keep it in small unheated tank much longer.
