Upside-Down Vs Pleco

My pleco 8" keeps harrassing my new upside-down cat and he is giving him white scratches across the body he is 6". i know its probably because of territory and new fish and size but its really worrying sometimes anyoneone have any similar stories???

Some plecs can be very pushy. Have they enough hiding places? You should have at least two more hiding places/caves than you have catfish, so the less dominant fish always has two places to choose from.
