Upside-down Catifsh Spawning

So I was on my way home from the pet store and with a male and a female upside down-catfish, they are about 2"-3" in length and they appeared to be spawning. They were intermingled with each other. Is it possible?

Probably a bit like if 2 humans were spawning and goliath picked them up. They'd stop it. Same with fish.

Doesnt take much to interupt breeding. On the other hand it takes a bomb to make then stop.

I swear they were doing something. The female looked pregnant but turns out they are normally thicker.

Thats the ovaries filling up with eggs. Thats what makes female fish thicker.
