They are just to die for. Are you going to breed them? Please let me know if you are.

They are just outstanding !

Two beautiful Black Orchid CT's. I picked up a Black Orchid male last week that was a double double ray CT but the only female I could find close to him was a Black/Red Copper Dragon double double ray CT. They weren't getting along so I bred her to my Gold Dragon so maybe when I put her back with him she wont be so belligerent. I just love the Black Orchid colors and yours are excellent!!

Got them from my local fish shop. Intended to breed them but not sure how. Never breed bettas before.

Lucky you. The first pic looks photoshopped, and the last pic is drop-dead adorable ;) (Btw the first was a compliment, haha)

Well I can't exactly help you on breeding, but you ARE prepared right? This isn't your first couple?

If you want to breed them let me know and I'll give you some web sites with articles on breeding. I'll be happy to assist in any thing you don't understand or need help with. I'm not very good at downloading my pictures and other things on this *amn computer but I know my way around a fish tank!!

I did not PS it.. just auto correct..
And YES, they are my first couple... LOL.

Let me know If these sites work for you. But first get a quart jar, fill it with water and put a few small pieces of lettuce (or some similar vegetable matter) in the water; in a few days you will have infusoria to feed the fry. I keep two jars on my kitchen counter year round. There should be no smell, if it smells bad it is bad; start over. Sometimes I forget about it between batches of fry but it wont hurt it just toss in a couple more pieces of veggies and its good to go. Then you will need to have a baby brine shrimp hatchery set up. Here are some links http.www.bettysplendens.com Victoria has lots of good info and articles. Http.www.jim-sonniers.com Excellent articles on genetics and breeding and raising.

Wow, my LFS does not have such beautiful bettas! They're gorgeous.
