This is my plan for stocking my 75G tank.

Please, Please, Please let me know whats good, whats not and what changes I should consider.

Phase I) Easy and Cheap
10 Espei or Harlequin Rasbora (should I get more?)

Phase II) Easy and Reasonably Priced
2 Angelfish (better in singles or 2-3's?)
5 American Flag Killifish (Not sure about these. Should I rather get a few different Rainbows e.g. Dwarf Neon/Praecox/Celebes Rainbos - and add in Phase 3)

Phase II) Easy and Could Be Expensive (shop around)
6 Boesemani Rainbow Fish

Phase IVa) Moderately Challenging
5 Clown Loaches
Phase IVb)
4 Keyhole Cichlid (are they better in singles?)
If I should keep Keyholes in singles, then:
- ADD 1 Dwarf Ram (Blue or Bolovian) (does the RAM like colder water???)
- OR 1 Cockatoo
- OR 1-2 Honey/Pearl/Blue Gourami (aqadvasor says they stress the Rasbosa?)

I'm no expert but that sounds like a lot of fish. I know clown loaches get pretty big. Maybe someone else can chime in.

What is the fish species in your phasse addtion list that you want above all others?

I ask because I would not mix Angelfish with Clown Loaches for example, as the Angels would not appreciate the strong current (75-1500 gallons per hour) that the Clowns would thrive in.

That was quick and meaningful feedback.

Couple of corrections/additions to my post:

Phase II is listed twice, the second should read Phase III.

Phase IVa - I do have a planned tank upgrade when the loaches start getting big, I know they need a larger tank.

With that in mind, please keep the comments rolling in.

Hands down - loaches are #1; Rainbows seem a good 2nd

As I suspected (only because they often are the "must have" fish when forum members are pushed into declaring their biggest desire), all fish planned for this tank need to be strong current riverine fish that will do well at 24C or a little higher...

A big group (10+) of either Giant Danios or Filament Barbs would be my top choice, perhaps with 10+ Dwarf Chain Loaches or Zebra Loaches to hopefully give the Clowns some reassurance.
