Nice looking and and the fishe are looking healthy which is always a bonus.

Personaly i would not worrie about the fry, they produce so many of them they be fine with the parents. i never try my fry and have loads of them, well with yellow labs and red zebra's that is.

ok after i edited the post about 200 times haha.. tell me what you guys think.

nice tank man, really clear pictures too.

The fish you called the F1 Cynotilapia Afra cobue mozambique looks really like one of mine which was sold to me as melonchromis exasperatus? Is it the same fish but with different names or do they just look really similar?

They are different fish chish. Exasperatus were actually renamed to Melanochromis Joanjohnsonae in the 80's - head shape is actually pretty different when you see them in the flesh or in pics at the right angle and C.Afra Cobue get quite a lot of yellow along with the blue as they grow - real little stunners.

Here's a decent link on Joanjohnsonae, which should help confirm the identity of your fish.

OOOh petrocla (not sure of spelling and typing this is even longer then just looking it up!!! oh well to late now LOL)

These are great little fish and i love them.

How many do u have hiden in there then?

Hi ferris, sorry dont mean to hijack thread, that link shows a male, so mine I am thinking must be a female as it looks totally different to that one in the link, and does have yellow spots down the dorsal fin, but its just a juvenile so maybe it'll change.

Cracking pictures of your fish though snake, really clear.

I have 6 Syno Petricola. They are such an amazing fish to watch.. they are darting all over the place.. they were very shy at first but now mine will come up and feed from my hand. ill find a pic with all of them out and about
