Also do you have the micro crabs in that tank?

I have the same myself. Must get some photo's up but am waiting to add more plants and a nice background first.

Your Amazon Swords are doing well. Do you use any plant fertiliser?

I didnt add a layer of substrate below the gravel when I set up :(

i havent got any gravel just put in deep sand in when planted the plants and as time has gone by its gradually settled
i have a 10w bulb in the tank
i feed tetrapond plantamin at the moment once a fortnight - or whatever cheap plantfood i can get thats copper free

I'm noew very tempted to set up a hex at my bedside table - for inverts of course.

the adult cherry shrimps love eating the real young baby snails - also selling the snails to mum in laws friends for their ponds - cos its spring and pond time :good:
 
Thats a nice tank alot of fish.


there are a lot of shrimp but they are being sold gradually
but fish wise there arent many just a nice stocking level

15 pygmaeus corys ,6 hasbrosus corys ,30 brigitte rasboras,5 micro crabs,cherry&CB shrimp ,apple snails
and a couple of bronze and peppered corys fry growing on to go into other tanks when a bit larger
