Just thought id bring you up to speed on my tank. All the nitrate levels have now gone after weeks of water and sand changes, the only thing im trying to get rid of atm is green alge by using Phosguard in a bag in the fillter. All the corals are looking 100 times better now i bought a Halimeda sp to help with the nitrates because every time you feed them frozen food it adds nitrates to your water so the Halimeda hopefully will keep that down.As for livestock here is a list 1 regal tank 2inc 2 commonclown 1 six line and 1 false grammer and 2 pepermint shrimps 1 hermit crab and 1 other crab think its an emerald.Also bought a uv Sterilizer. Just adding a few frags atm as i can not afford to buy fully grown corals.Any way here are a few pics, still got a few aptisia left ive left them for the shrimp to eat but if they get any bigger i will get rid.Also could you tell me what the thing inside live rock holes is its very small and looks like a pair of long nose Pliers its pink on the outside and green in its mouth and it opens and closes?
