Update! - Rescape: Trigon 350 Mostly American Cichlids.

Great looking tank and nice stocking as well :) What is the stock list at the moment? Cichlid wise I spotted 1 gold 1 rotkiel sev, 1 big Acara, couldnt work out if it was a GT or a Blue Acara and a small Acara again couldnt work it out... 2 Ellioti (very nice btw) and a Keyhole. Which is kind of okay in a 90g IMO - though if it is a GT I can see it being a problem.

But yeah looks good :) Got to ask though where did you get them from :) Not seen many of them around here before lol - where did you get the Rotkiel from?

you have a keen eye, one is actually a gt which was sold as a blue acara which maybe going but I'm just experimenting the behaviour to see how bad If bad at all they actually are. I have 4 elliotis that I got a local shop to order in for me it's a bad shop in fairness if. you was to walk in and look at the stock but i got the owner to order them in for me and he called me the minute they was delivered and I picked them up still in the same bags and box they got delivered in so didn't stress the fish out to much, 2 elliotis need to go because now I have a breeding pair, 2 keyholes, 4 gold rams again waiting for a pair to pair up, clown loaches, Hoplo cats, ghost face knife which will be moving on soon, L191 and another plec which was sold as a l75 although this looks more like a candy stripe. a few other bits and. bobs which are impossible to catch and move on without taking the tank apart mainly anomalochromis thomasi and a female nannacara anomala.

rotkeil was from ferrybridge, as said upgrade will come when our tenancy is up in may and then we get our own house, i nearly purchased a 600l this week I started to put. my card details in then realised it would mean I would be on the sofa with the dog for a few weeks and its getting nippy now so can't be having that.

haha!!

I always split Cichlids in percentages and for me GTs are 80% end up as wet pets and 20% get on in big tanks with other fish.

The rest of the fish worked out pretty nice IMO only question for me is the gold rams but the rest sound good :)

Im desparate to move as well we own our flat but thats the problem its a flat I want a garden.... with a shed/outhouse for a fish house :)

Ha yeah i know the feeling we have a 3 bedroomed house and its a nice area and nice house but we are just pissing money up the wall every month, excuse my french. so we're looking at new builds on Kingswood and there fairly cheap.

I got given the 4 rams as fry and i don't want to give them away until there adults and looking pretty, one got picked off fairly quickly but for the past 5 months they haven't had any problems.

The gt is kept in check by the rotkeil and the dominant ellioti pair but there all talk and wouldn't do no damage where as the gt probably would, so far so good but we will just have to see, if it gets too boisterous it will be off to the lfs.

Haha yeah i agree but it's only in the substrate to see if the sevs eat it or not, the next water change ill probably attach one plant to some of the wood.

A nicaraguan, it's a little rough as it was getting beat up in its tank at the lfs but hopefully will brighten up.
It has only been in the tank and few hours, the elliotis are staking there territory but it's far from scared by them.

Ah nice! She looks good already :) Def female.

She will fatten up nicely :)

she looks a little duller than that by eye, the picture just makes her look good, her tail find is a but. nipped and her belly is a slight bit inward but after a feeding of bloodworm and mealworms she's already parking up.

New video, ignore robsen green catching peacock bass in the background lol.
