Well as you know Edward had pretty much a near fatal case of Ich, in fact I don't know how the little bugger managed to pull through, but he has. I haven't fed him the past week as he has just been so poorly, but today I gave him a few bloodworms, which went down a TREAT! he was famished. Which made me so happy to see.

I know he still has more treatment as he still has spots - but I'm just so glad to see him recovering..
It's cost me a small fortune, and shaved a few years off my life due to stress, but it's so worth it to see him looking better

Here was his before shots - probably at his worse in these:

I never knew Whitespot could get that bad... wow....

And good luck and well done. He is looking alot better, swimming around and stuff. And Im glad him made it through too. soon all the treament should be over :fun:

awww bless him, he looks so much better, well done, I hope he continues to improve as well.

brilliant news. As the spot is still present, you can start another treatment 4 days after the first one finished, do a slight water change before though and this will rid him of it completely. Thats only if youve finished the treament as im not sure at what stage your at.

He looks so much better and that ich was looking awful.

Wow what a difference! You did an awesome job and you had to be patient to get him through that mess!! Good job and glad to see he looks so much better! :hooray:

Well done Janene....you've done an excellent job. He looks soooo much better than he did before and must be feeling alot more comfortable. Keep up the good work and he'll be good as new in no time :good:

Im impressed! when i saw those initial pictures I thought the case was too severe for a cure! but check you out he looks miles better!

He's looking great! My new betta had whitespot almost as bad, but then they starting reducing day on day... yesterday he was clear and the treatment was finished so i water changed and added a new dose, hopefully this will sort out anything lingering :) Great job!

Congratulations on doing a brilliany job.

He is a beautiful looking fish.

Thank you =)
I'm so glad I stuck with it.

Just a question, the Ich treatment that was actually successful is a 3 day Treatment, I have just continued daily with the smaller recommended dose. Do you think I should leave it be a few days and start treatment again? Or just keep doing daily treatments?

Thanks for everyone's help.
Especially who suggested the copper sulphate treatment, I think had I persevered with the other he would be dead by now. Soon as we started on the Copper treatment we saw results in about 2-3 days....=) So thankyou thankyou thankyou
