What you people Think? Will upload better quality photos tomorrow

Its a Yellow Lab, I know he shouldn't be in there, a friend of mine's tank bust about 2 months ago and He's just stuck around. Im going to be Donating him next month to a friend who is setting up a 50 Gallon Yellow Lab / Pseudo Tank. He is a pretty fish, and will be surely missed.

What else is need for this tank? The plants are still early in growing and the roots are still developing a good base in the sand, but growing well, need to incorporate some star grass into there i think

Just plenty more plants mate. Whats the full stocklist?!

STOCKING
6 Columbian Tetras
6 Neon Tetra
5 Baloon Mollies (1 Male 4 Females)
1 Rainbow Shark
1 Plec
7 Bleeding Blue Tetras
6 Leopard Danios
1 Yellow Lab

How much more would you add to this, if anything?

Personally i would up the CRF Tetra's to 8, the Neons to ~15 and the Blue's up to 8 or 10? It's a nice sized tank for the rainbow shark too :)

Thanks mate, now I have an excuse to buy some more fish  Ill go and get 10 Neons, 1 CRFT, and a couple of blues tomoro then :good:

I know Amano/Algae shrimp would not work in this set up as the shark may have a go at it, but what about a couple of Mountain/Rock Shrimp, will they be okay? i know there filter feeders so require crushed flakes in the water for them to feed

No idea on the shrimps mate... sorry.

I would add 2 CRF though incase the new one is singled out. Just my opinion though mate.

Okay mate, will add the two, just need to decide what plants to add now
Maybe another sword, star grass, ludwigia i dunno

Anubias and Java Fern as they're tough and easy going :) more Vallis, Elodea and some crypts (lots!!!!) :D

Excellent, will get them tomoro, plant em up and post new pxs, thanks alot :good:

He's a cracking Plec there, looks like a common i just rehomed lol. Does it dig? I had two common plecs for a while, and they forced rescapes weekly due to constant digging up of the plants. Also, the slate looks good, just make sure its wobble tested, as a plec can shift it, even if it looks like he wont fit, he'll force his way in.
