well, when we last left off you guys were helping me with the 20 gallon.

since then:
the xenia sixtupled and still going
the button polyps have split into 2 and are migrating to the rockwork
the clownfish are fat an happy, ones getting bigger than the other, but slightly

and here are the bad developments

red algae!!! how can i get rid of it?
heres what happened, we started out with around 10 hermit crabs, well... i forgot to feed them along with the clownfish, so total heck broke loose and now im left with 1 or 2, my dad still fed like there were ten so there was overfeeding. im thinking thats the problem, so for now we have cut back on the food and were planning on getting 5 more hermit crabs, sound ok?

also they ate 1 snail and a turbo snail died :(

but good news is those are the only blips!

and when we get to georgia at the end of the school year ill be able to start the 55!

The Red algae is most probably Cyano algae a few things can be done firstly check your phosphate and nitrate levels if phosphate high renew your phosphate remover
Check your flow it should be 20 - 30 times the volume of your tank.

:hi: back Mojo :good:

Any photos?

As Morri has already said, you need to check your levels and flow but also that is far too many hermits for a 20 gallon - I would be looking at three at the most
