Unwanted Lr

Drush it into LR rubble, and use it to fll in small gaps behind LR, in my external filter, or dry it out for use as frag plugs etc later.

It might be hard to find local reefers.

I don't know if fragmenting it would be best. From what I read the more area of the rock revieled the better. To have it surrounded by flowing water.

Lmao, hard to find local reefers?

What part of the state do you live in?

i am uk based and i will be willing to take it off u for free :hey:

I live in really small town, population of 54.
I don't know of ANYONE who keeps saltwater fish around me, or rather fish in general. Everyone fishes, but doesn't keep them.

there cut price down if hair algae is on it, why dont u qt and send it to me or u can then try selling it back to a diffrent lfs if possible

Then wouldn't it be better TOO crush it? To increase SA (Surface Area):V (volume) ratio? ;) If you have sufficient LR already to complete your nitrogen cycle, as you mentioned in your first post, why do you need it intact? You dont. I have all LR rubble filling in the gaps between my large chunks of LR, giving a greater SA and alot more life. Water still flows between it.

Are you within say 2 hours drive of either buffalo, rochester, syracuse, albany, binghampton, or even watertown? There are actually a LOT of reefers in the upstate NY area, you've just got to know where to look ;)
