It's very interesting how different fish, specifically of different species, interact with one another.

From the moment they met him, my pair of clown-loaches decided to adopt my red tailed shark as a parent figure. It's very sweet. They follow him round all day, rest with him in his log. And once I saw all three of their little faces poking out of the same 2 inch wide cave.

I was merely wondering (for the purpose of light, yet entertaining conversation) if anyone else has similar situations in their tanks.

All my fish tend to mind their own business and fight amongst their own species but I have noticed that the female dwarf gourami likes to chase the blue platy - just him and none of the other fish at all, not even the other platies. Maybe she's confusing him for her mate who is also blue and has been moved to the hospital tank...

My Threadfin Acara and Thoricthys sp.Mixteco Gold seem to have some kind of relationship.... though they seem to have broken up the past few days.

I also find the Threadfins relationship with my Geophagus interesting as he keeps them all in check if they start fighting for dominance.

I bought 2 chain loaches the other day and theyv been constantly swimming around with my rummys, like there part of their we shole. Quite funny to watch :D
I also used to have a peppered cory who used to follow my spotted cat about. They actually did look quote familiar, although the cat was about 10 times the size of the cory haha
