Unsure How To Keep Plants Alive

I'll have a look at those links soon. Still not convinced though. Plants are looking great now that ive pruned them. They actually seem greener now. Kept the top part of the Wisteria and lilacina and planted it into substrate. The Vallis seems to have improved as well. All this since I completed the stocking of livestock yesterday. Maybe the fish alone are producing enough CO2?
Ive rearranged the rocks and plants and the tank is looking far neater and natural than it does on that picture i posted earlier.
I seem to have lost my shrimp though!!!!

that maybe because you have disturbed your substrate which in turn has released some ammonia.

You should do a 50-80% w/c after.

Yeah, did that when I pruned the plants.
They do look good now. I think I may try and keep them that size from now on. Each day, the plants look greener and greener. Well happy with the look of them and the fish seem to appreciate them as well. The Rams seem to love swimming in between the leaves and hiding out in them when they get spooked.
