So how about this for an unpopular opinion: Usually, when something goes wrong in one of my tanks, it's my own dumb fault!

As to new members not giving 'like clicks' many may not even know what the 'like system' is. Personally I killed this feature on my computer help forums as I think it possible for some users to post without really knowing if they are right just trying to get likes. Don't take wrong as I sort of get a kick out of the like system here but don't take it seriously.

Another thing to consider is that this site is international with many cultures. With different cultures there are always going to be .... well, cultural differences. For one culture not giving a thank you for a solution could be taken as an insult but, within a different culture, is just normal.

I think it important that we recognize the international aspect of this site and strive to make allowances for things that do not match our personal culture as it may be the norm within another culture.

I admit, that I forget, to give likes all the time... So probably a lot of peoples are like me...

Think of it this way... It will make you feel better... But hunting for likes... Is ludicrous in my mind. I consider my opinion worth's more than fame...

As for the nice replies left in haze... In exception of computer support related forums... Where I admit, description and information gathered surpasses what you could ever have in a hobby like Aquariophilia that leads to a panoply of syndromes.
