Hello everyone,

I’ve been cycling my tank for some rili shrimp but have found these white little worms all over the tank. So I snagged a few and got some decent pictures of them under a microscope. At first I thought they were detritus worms but under the microscope they don’t have the hairs on their sides. Does anyone have any ideas what they could be?

Did a search on google and they came up as flukes. Any change thats what they are?
Did you end up doing any treatment for this or finding out? I am reading through old threads and it seems detritus or not, little white worms breeding in the tank are very common in shrimp and snail tanks - I've now got them in my new shrimp tank. Flukes are parasites and need meds so just curious if you sorted it out
