Its gone, went to move the piece of rock, and it no where to be seen! -_- .????, but on the good side i disturbed my pistol shrimp, which gave me a few snaps, so i know he's still there. :D

could be an abalone?

If so, there shouldn't be a problem. I have several in my tank. most are about the size of a pea and theres one which is the size of a golf ball. They graze on algae, and some grow quite large 8"+

ste :)

nope, this was entirely bright pea green, even the animal bit!, looks like a leaf!, will try to get a piccy when i see it again!.
I saw it the other day on the front glass but i thought it was some micro algae, as i was cultivating it out of the sump, and put it into the main tank just to put it somewhere before i binned it, thought it was abit that got away!

interesting, I've never seen that thing before. I like the comparison with the finger and the snail there, lol

I think they are nudiibranches. is teh shell soft or hard? I dont actually know what they are but i will take a guess that they are safe. If they are a nudibranch then they usually disguise themselves by looking like they food. As thisis bright grren and looks like a bit of algae/seaweed then it might well be an algae grazer. watch them closely and try to see where they hang o ut and what they are eating

possibly a stomatella? I nver saw any this colour though -_-
