It's a Gyrinocheilus aymonieri. C.A.E. or Sucking loach. The Good! News is that they are not as aggressive as the Grey/silver/black ones. Golden are becomeing more popular in lfs at the moment.

Yes I think it's the albino version of the chinese algae eater as I got one myself, just that it's not an albino. Mine's just the normal brownish one.

From the pet shop I went (the huge chain store throughout the UK) they said both of them r mildly aggressive esp. when they r adult. But I can see mine chasing other tankmates around sometimes!

The normal One's are as i and you say Buggers!!! Young Golden C.A.E.'s look like Albino's but grow more into the Golden colour when they get older.
