Any thoughts or idea for for cool unique tropical fish

elephant nose, upside down catfish, african butterfly fish, archer fish, baby whales, black knives, arowanas, puffers, gobies, needlenose...are all wonderfully beaitiful yet weird fish...they all require different water stats, get different sizes, and need different things....research them a bit if you want...very interesting fish

Hey, there's many fantastic fish out there that will suit your needs. Black knife ghosts, glass cats, silver sharks, rainbow sharks, albino sharks, figure eight puffers, keyhole cichlids (can be kept in a community tank without problem), columbian sharks or why not try some frogs (albino), firebelly toads or newts - firebelly, paddletail. All widely available in good fish stores.

What is the tank size it is going to go into... Are there any play pals already in the tank?

Just checking cool fish will not eat his mates or be eaten by them

Hmm...
A really pretty fish would be a Black cory with red fins, like a "Rainbow Shark" but be called "Rainbow Corydora"

A zebra plec, if you can find one someone is willing to sell and can afford to buy it!

They're so cute and funny and very friendly.
