Unhappy Platys

Update: another dead platy - remaining 2 and other fish seem OK.

Just did a 10L water change.  Left new water for 24 hours with conditioner and it still tested 0.25 for Ammonia (in daylight).

I've read that a cycle takes 10 weeks.  It's 17 days since I last cleaned tank.  Just did a bit of gravel clean with the 10L I took out.  I need a plan.  Should I leave gravel/ornaments/glass/filter alone for another 4 weeks and monitor ammonia/nitrate levels in the meantime and keep doing 10L water changes every few days?

Definitely leave the filter alone, because if you intensely clean it you'll have to restart your cycle.  It's a good idea to leave the whole tank alone too (except for WC's of course).  Good luck!
