Three days ago I found platy fry in my 4 gallon tank. The fry were about 0.5 cm long. I've been feeding them twice a day with fry food, but I'm not sure they're
getting any because of the four adult platies in the tank (the adults are 2 cm long).

I have just realised I need to do daily water changes and feed the fry more than
twice a day. I'd move them to a different tank but I don't have one cycled yet.

Now I can only see one baby. I'm not sure if the other fry have been eaten, have died, or are just hiding. I don't see any of them on the gravel

Water parameters are: pH 7.2 ppm; ammonia, nitrite, nitrate 0 ppm; KH 3 degrees; GH 2 degrees

What do you think happened to the other fry, and is there anything I can do to save the one that is left?

Platy fry are crafty little hiders...Mine never show up until they're over a half inch long and I have an impossible time catching them. I just let them be and when they start getting too large to run so easily I put them in my grow out tank.

Oh, I've found the other three now :*) Trust me to freak out when I can't find them. They seem to really like lying on leaves :p

fry can go in an un-cycled tank

Just to clear things up, can fry go in an uncycled tank? My lfs told me the fry, like most other fish, would probably die
