Undergravel filter for goldfish

I am planning to buy a 100 gallon tank for my goldfish. After some research, I think I am going to get a Rena XP3 canister plus a Emperor 400 power filter. (Any comments for my choice? )

In my past freshwater aquarium experience I have always used a power filter plus an undergravel filter for filtration. With my set up, do you think I need an undergravel filter?

UGF are not the best filter at all, especially for goldfish.
I think that cannisters is the best way to go, but slightly out of my budget just yet.
