If it makes you feel better when we had bed bugs the guy didn't believe us! Originally we had caught one of them and he looked the room over and saw nothing else so ruled it out as a fluke. We kept getting bit though and he finally broke down and poisoned the place. It took 6 months to do it though and it still wasn't convinced when he sprayed. So frustrating, especially when you're itching so bad you aren't sleeping.

 
I had bites all over my arm, and the guy was convinced I had them before he even walked in, shined a light up in the corner of my bedroom and there were some babies, apparently that's when they REALLY start biting because they can't shed until they feed... I only lived with them for a few weeks, I can't imagine 6 months! Sorry you had to go through all of that, I know what a living nightmare it is!
