Ultra Cool Tank

I don't think it's bad. If fish died you'd use a long pipe or something to vac them up or something. Not great amount of room for larger fish but would be good for smaller species of fish. It has a good external filter and would like I said before good for small fish.

true, if it was too much maintenance they would not have made it, it does say on their website that it is easy to maintain, just like a regular aquarium.
Unfortunately, I think a lot of marketing people s t r e t c h the truth in order to sell something. :/

As they say, "buyer beware".

I simply dont believe in crap like that, if you want something to look nice buy a BIG lcd tv, If you want something to look nice in your room and keep fish buy a suitable aquarium and maintain it..

Other than that either buy a ticket to a sea life centre or treat your self to an expedition through the Amazon.. Im sorry but most people who buy things like that are soley in it for the bling factor and know nothing and intend to know of how they care to look after their fish "if it is ill and drab looking, flush it and buy a new prettier one" that the guests will oogle at..

Fancy bowls, coffee tables really dont cut it for me, Not being big headed but people walk in my home and admire and comment on my tank and im safe in the knowlege that im trying to provide a comfortable enviroment for its inhabitants and at the same time enjoying my hobby with no abuse from my wife for making the place untidy (there are some awesome practical tanks available now so there really is no need for the gimmick style rubbish out there such as cylinders, lava lamps, fancy bowls, coffee tables etc) .

Lil bit strong lol but i like seeing fish with lots of open space to swim. ohh and shelter when required..

Not my cup of tea, but it would be pretty cool to see some shrimp wandering around the tubes, and would be really neat for some apple snails, would hate to try to flush the poo out though  . With no substrate it would always be obvious.

I like CFC's eel idea too.

If I had a large enough tank I'd place that thing in it (it'll be like a prefab ant colonies). I could see octopus or marine morays living large without the lids so they can come in and out as they pleased. I'm sure most fish will swim in and get confused and die from getting "Lost" . But I suppose it'll make a better rodent/weasle house (or a prairie dog hole) :good: .

It looks cool actually, really modern. I would just becareful on stocking as they look alittle small, maybe like 4 female bettas would be good. Actually after a second glance you could do quite a few females bettas :p

It says that it is a member in UK but, if you look at the pluc it is a european plug with no adaptor so I think someone has been using their airbrushing talents here.

Also look at the rating it's been given by voters so far. lol 2.25 out of 10. I would've given it less.

1.8 now

And i wander how many Gouramis they get through, imagin in the lower tank trying to get air!!!!!!!
Yes the can breath through the water, but the get very stressed if they cant get atmospheric air which they prefer.

It deffinately has something about it for me in terms of looks, but as mentioned not very functional when it comes to maintainance & i can't think of much that would thrive in such a setup. In the past when thinking of different tank ideas, i have imagined a large central tank with pods of darkened glass (easily accessible of course), dark enough to be used as a spawning cave, yet light enough for you view the goings on. It works in my head any way :look:

Something "fishy" here! all plants in same position, they may be supplied with the tank, but look how the gravel is placed exactly the same in the top areas, I think maybe its the company trying to show off the tank to a wider audience, notice the need to drop in the company name in the "description" (looks more like a sales pitch to me)

Hmm for the amount of space it takes up there's not much fish swimming space. To be honest, I think it's bloody ugly too lol but maybe that's just me. How much does it cost? For the space it seems to take up, and the price I'd expect they'd charge for it, you may as well have a realllly reaaaallly nice tank - you know, a proper one, that you can actually get fish in!

Like this one I wish I could afford...
