Hello,
I have 3 male guppies in my tank, and no females at all - and one of them has suddenly turned ultra aggressive! They're all very different colours, and the all black male won't leave the others alone; he's always nipping at them or chasing them, pushing them into the side of the tank and just generally harassing them. Its not even stopping at the other guppies, he's doing it to my danios aswell.
I can't get females because i have three males so i'd need ridiculous numbers of females and i can't deal with the guppy fry as i have no more space in the tank.
Any clue how i can stop him being so aggressive?

I don't know that you *can* stop him from being so aggressive. Personally, I have a male guppy so aggressive that he has to be kept in isolation with only two cories, which seem to be the only thing he's left alone. He had a tank mate last year, another male guppy, and he chased/nipped him so incessantly that the other guppy died. I thought maybe a larger tank and more room to roam would tone down his aggressiveness, but he started in after my GloFish almost immediately after I put him into the tank. When I added my new, perfectly friendly male guppy to that same tank, he viciously attacked him. I had to rush to net him out and plop him back into isolation.

this is why when keeping only males its recommended to have atleast 5, i have 5 male platies that nip now and then but most times are fine

If i were to get a few more, do you think that he would calm down? Because it doesn't matter what i do, he attacks everything and anything bar my bristlenose. If i got more wouldn't he just attack them?
