uk stockist of ammonia?

i need to get hold of ammonia for fishless-cycling, can anyone recommend anywhere in the uk i can get hold of it? i tried boots the chemist and homebase, but no you

A lot of people (myself included) manage to find it in small, private owned hardware shops. The big chains like homebase and B+Q don't stock it.

If you're really stuck, you can try phoning Jeyes, the company who make it, and asking them where the nearest stockist to you is. I forget their phone number but if you need it i can tell you it tomorrow.

Don't go to the big players - you will have no luck there. Try independant hardware/household shops. Thats where I got mine, a dilute but unadulterated ammonia cleaner.

Most food stores have a cleaning aile thats where I picked mine up, just make sure nothings added (ie desented or new fragrance)

Not in the UK they don't. Trust me a small independent household/hardware shop is your best bet. Check out yellow pages and make some calls.
