Uk Law On Tattoos

Got to admit I address anyone in work emails as "Hi Guys"

I have to post, I'm a parent, I have tattoos, and I also took my sister to get one without permission (she was 17 at the time.)

For me it was better to take her to a reputable artists rather than let her have one or her high school buddies try to do it. My mom was torqued but any teenager that isn't under lock and key will find a way to do what they want regardless of what the parents think. That's just the way it is. At least he got one that is hidable. He didn't tattoo his neck, forearm, face, etc.

Forcing him to have it removed is wrong. It is very painful regardless. Yes it depends on pain tolerance. But seriously, how much tolerance do you think a 15 year old is going to have? Be realistic. Also, there is the possibilty of some scarring. Depending on how well you heal, how deep the ink is, colors used, etc. Sorry to say but as parents we are supposed to protect our children. Not cause them needless pain.

As for her, there really is no point in trying to ruin her life over it. She will make her own mistakes and will eventually pay for them all by herself. Have you bothered to ask her why she would do such a thing without your consent?
