Uk Fish Store's Not To Buy From!

To go with the pinned thread above, how about a list of those shops never to buy from.

I'll start by shaming (Name removed just in case (nationwide pet store)) in Wakefield.
Went in yesterday to find a tank with 10 dead green tigers and a few loaches on the verge of death!
After telling the assistant, I went back today to find more dead fish in the same tank and a fish that's been dead for at least 3 days!

Don't buy from there!

i went to this 1 store and the lady assumably a new worker cus i never saw her before


he dropped the lid in the tank and crushed i dont know the names but they were really long african fish i believe

but it crushed about 5 of these fish and it was a horrid site

This is a rather pointless thread as we would be here all day naming and shanming and eventuall the forum would get screwed. You can tell not to buy from somewhere as soon as you look at a few tanks.

my localist of lfs stores ive been buying the odd bit from now and then (probably the same nation wide pet store) well ive been going there for just over a month now ans today was the first time ever someone actually asked if i required any help, i politely said know (hes just doing what hes payed todo but i bet he didnt know a thing) ooooh and a woman was even cleaning some tanks up, it doesnt house the best of things but it has a decent selection of reasonably priced fish

im lucky ive got 3 fish stores pretty local the furthest being 10 miles away (that shops amazing, constant flow of customers really helpfull staff and an amazing selection of fish and hardware) im like a kid in a sweet shop
