Uh oh...

Sorry, that must be so painful for you 💔
That honestly wasn't necessary... It's a stand they take and while I love eating meat, I respect them for not eating it. And it's not always a moral decision, sometimes it's just health in general. Even so, it's a good lifestyle honestly. I do have a respect for them.
But then there are the vegans who always try to force their lifestyle at people and literally attacked others. Those are the ones I don't respect.

Good grief 😅 how about we don't take things so seriously and learn to laugh at ourselves instead of being so quick to be offended over absolutely everything? I don't care what people choose to eat or not eat 🤷‍♀️ live and let live. You're allowed to be offended if you want to be👍🏻

Well when someone is offended over a joke I've made, I take a step back and realize they didn't take it that way.

OK that's fine 😅 but they are also allowed to be offended aren't they? We all have a right to freedom of speech, the joke wasn't intended to hurt anyone nor was it offensive🤷‍♀️

The world is filled with people who can't cope with life because they have no resilience to a slight negativity that might come their way. Instead of falling apart when they see or hear something they don't agree with, throw a tantrum and demand that people should change their view point or beliefs (or what they find funny in this instance) so that they can feel better, they could just maturely decide to turn the other cheek and get on with their life? I'm offended by lots of evil things everyday but I don't go around telling all those people I'm offended...I just put the kettle on and get on with my life 😁

As someone who has been told over an over and over: "Take a joke" due to a mental disorder, I always feel for someone who didn't realize it was a joke or took offense because I've been in their shoes so many time and the last thing I would want to hear when not realizing it's a joke is: "take a joke"

I have the same disorder matey, I hear what you're saying...but unfortunately it's our problem, not theirs 🤷‍♀️ without being condescending, you'll understand when you're a bit older and lived an independent life in the world a while

There is a saying I heard a long time ago from I don't know where or from whom. It goes something like this:
"Please engage brain before putting mouth in gear." or "Insure brain is in gear before engaging mouth."

However, I can offer these two quotes by a pair of celebrities, of all people.

If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?” — Tiger Woods
If you can't laugh at yourself, life is going to seem a whole lot longer than you'd like." - Natalie Portman

And yes, there is a bunch of research on the benefits of laughing- people who laugh a lot live longer and have lower cardiovascular problems v.s. those who laugh infrequently. Below is just one example:

Sakurada, K., Konta, T., Watanabe, M., Ishizawa, K., Ueno, Y., Yamashita, H. and Kayama, T., 2020. Associations of frequency of laughter with risk of all-cause mortality and cardiovascular disease incidence in a general population: findings from the Yamagata study. Journal of Epidemiology, 30(4), pp.188-193.

Like the quotes! Defiantly respect people who are vegetarian and vegan. I could never but I do wish that animals had better living conditions especially the cows that are in feed lots, just is to cruel!
