Today I ran down to Colorado to go to the batting cages with my softball team. Well, at some point during the day, the power went out at my house and all my filters were dry when I got home. I don't know how long they were down...could have been 10 minutes could've been 8 hours. What do you think I should do, do I need to worry? I threw some Cycle in all the tanks and hopefully that'll do it, but I am a little paranoid. My biggest phobia is cycling, I swear.

I keep extra filters running on my big tanks at all times so I have them in such situations or in setting up new tanks. Today however, all my tanks were down, so my extras are in the same boat as the others. Thanks ;)

You and the fish will be fine. The bacteria can survive for up to 24 hours before they start to die off
I've heard that many times.

Relax Sorrell. :p

Our power was off for 17 hrs the other day :X :X

I did lose a blue ram today, but it could have been completely unrelated. Well, I lost 2, but one was injured so that would definitely have happened anyway :/ All of my other fish look just as healthy as ever.

They should be just fine!

Thanks guys! I'm just so scared of any type of cycle be it full or mini that I get a little freaked out...I cycled my big tanks long ago and I never want to do so again. Thanks for the encouragement, I feel a lot better :D
