UH OH!

Is this a brand new tank or did all the fish die or get moved.

They sound like parasites to me, or something of the sort. i don't quite know the treatment.

The best thing to do is to empty the tank out, disinfect the tank and decor etc. with a proprietary aquarium disinfectant. When all the decorations and gravel have been removed from your tank and put into a plastic basin, pour boiling water over them. Rinse them again and rinse your tank so that its clear of any residue of disinfectant and replace everything. Fill your tank up and let things settle.
You should then be OK.

I was told by someone that a dishwasher (with no soap of course) would get rid of any crap I had on my decor or tank (if the tank fits in the washer). Theoretically it makes sense to me....scalding hot water just rinsing your tank out for about 45 minutes......someone let me know if this would work!
