I have come up with an idea of disguising uplift tubes....I hate them!!
Not sure these are available everywhere, but our local Wally has them 8 foot (I think) for $1.26 (US $)...they are shower curtain rod sleeves, they come in all different colors and are made of plastic, I just cut the length off I needed to go all the way to the top of the water, turned the filter media holder thingy
(??) to the back, and slipped the sleeve on to cover it all......it expands to the size of what it is around by itself, whether it is round or not.
I also stuck my airline tubes in with it.....hides it all.
And if the angels spawn on them just slide it off and you don't have to mess up the filtration tubes!
