my plants aren't growing very well....i have all kinds of additives and what not, but none seem to be working...

now....should i.....just add laterlite? just ya know...pour it in there?

strip the whole tank down and start over?

what should i do?

Whats the substrate you have at the moment and what kind of plants? Unfortunately many LFS sell lots of non-aquatic plants and so it might just be a case that the plants you have aren't true aquatics so no matter what you do they are going to die.

A photo of the tank would be ideal if you are able.

the grass one looks non-aquatic, but the others look ok from what I can tell.

It could just be the plants adapting to being underwater, most plants are grown out of the water and they need time to adapt when in the aquarium.

they've been in there for a while, they seem to be getting worse however. growing algae on them even. i put in an algae remover that dosen't harm plants...it seems to work.

but i want massive growth, i want the plants to grow crazy and free...what do i need with what i have?

now is the grass plant not jap. rush? & is the onion plant not buried to deep? I thought with onion plants you only bury half the bulb. is this not true?
