Types Of Betta's And Their Eating Habits

Are any types of bettas less picky when it comes to eating? I have a 20gal tank, and I'm looking for one that will eat the same pellets/flakes that the rest of teh tank gets (currently Tetra ColorBits).

i dont think there is a tpye of betta that is less picky it just depends an the individual betta
if you get a betta from a petshop or breeder check to see what they feed it and find out what its feeding habbits are

I dont think they will starve. Sometimes when I first get them they turn their little noses up but I just remove any uneaten food and leave for 48 hours and try again.

Yeah, it depends on the individual Betta.
Anyway, if they aren't eating much or appear to be kinda bloated, then fast them once a week or so. Some Bettas have that problem.
But otherwise it depends on the indivudual Betta.

what are the other tank mates? most males prefer a tank of there own

i feed my betta by hand, he will take flakes off my finger, and likes to get stuck into frozen shrimp/bloodworm cubes.

My last Betta I fed Tera Pellets to and at first it would only eat the red and dark brown ones and then all and then the light brown ones when he started getting sick
And My New betta luckily for me likes to eat the flakes... I am nervous about giving hm anything else because he might get too picky...
