Good suggestion but IMO the only issue with that JenJ is that there is no history recorded should it be required

That's why I suggested it only be removed once buyer and seller were both happy

OR having threads moved to an archive section when the goods & money have been exchanged?

The happy threads help people determine if the seller is trustworthy. They can search classifieds for that user name and see the past transactions for themselves and decide if they want to do business with them or not.
