Fish Fanatic
I have two plants on top of my Aquarium lid - just put them there a few days ago. One of my black neons was just nibbling something and appears to be a deceased pill bug (probably from the plant). Its probably okay but I just wanted to double-check and make sure - if it's not I can probably find it and fish it out of the tank. I'm a bit iffy about there being bugs/etc in my tank because I had live blood worms in my aquarium (I found them last time I moved).
I am also moving home from college next week for Thanksgiving; the aquarium is going then. I have two smaller angel fish (so far, if they get too big I will be selling them), three black neons, three rasboras, and two gouramis now.. I realize the angel fish in there go against any kind of tank space requirements or recommendations that I've read online; they appear to be healthy and happy at this point (and are well cared for). I am concerned about moving my fish home though; would a bucket be sufficient for moving the fish in? I only had the gourami when I moved in August and he went in a tupperware; there's just a larger amount of fish now and I'm concerned. I've been reading that angel fish don't travel well. I took them from a friend that was having a hard time caring for them a month or so ago now and they've been doing fine; but a move could be kind of severe, yes? It has to happen so I'd just like it to be the least stressful it has to be.
