two potential breeding males

these two boys are "keepers" who will be staying with us to keep the ct line we have started alive. they are now about 2 and a half months old and very different from the father (botm febuary) but in my opinion more exciting fish. haven't decided on a female to breed with as we are still mulling over whether to sibling cross or introduce an unrelated female into the mix or even breed them to the original female. have to be careful to keep the line strong. anyways, haven't decided on the girl yet but here are some kind of dark pics of the two very similar boys, can't decide which looks better yet, one is a darker blue and the other is a lighter shade of blue. both have the white fins though, could be a promising bi colour line if developed.

they are damn sexy.. not sure if its the color you're looking for, but i have a couple 2 ray females, 1 is a red, the other is a red DT CT.. i have a feeling you wont want them, but i thought id mention it anyways..

do you still have others to get rid of? id be happy to come pick some up sometime this week.. ill be near north van friday night for the lions game.. let me know

well, apparantly bettaluv purchased a betta at a shop i sold some of my ct's at. from how he described it i deduced that it was of my spawn
(if he would ever post a pic of it it could be confirmed real fast)

we've actually sold our fish at two different shops now, a lot of double rays have been sold already but we still have about 10 double ray jarred right now and a few more in the growout tank along with single ray. lots and lots of females though

we've actually sold our fish at two different shops now, a lot of double rays have been sold already but we still have about 10 double ray jarred right now and a few more in the growout tank along with single ray. lots and lots of females though

can i get some females can i can i can i?? PLEASEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! and some males too! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE oh btw... I saved your plakat today! =) this lil girl wanted to buy it and i overheard her talking to her dad: Dad! can i get that short finned one! please!!!!!!!!!!! i heard its easy to keep them! we can just keep him in the cup and he will eat his poop! so then i was like *gasp* and thank goodness i brought money with me! i snatched the plakat and said I want him!

but unfortunately, my dad came and dragged me outta the lfs b4 i could pay for him n the girl was staring at me n I was like he's constapating! he's sick! so i told sandy and jean to feed him a pea and not to sell him

well, it's sad to know he was unsold for so long, a couple of weeks in a little cup no matter how often water is changed is too much glad you bought him though, hope you give him a good home bettaluv

we recently found another shop called "noahs pet ark" on broadway at mcdonald in kitsilano that was eager to try out our fish. the owner is this ex hippy dude but is active in the aquarium world (member of the local killi fish club). i was very impressed with the conditions he keeps his fish in. some of the bettas get their own tanks B) and the cups he keeps some bettas in are big, deli cup sized. very happy to sell him fish. we brought 8 fish for him to try on saturday, he called us on monday and asked for 20 more this spawn is just about done though. 50 jars right now with males almost of size to sell and a tank full of females and maybe 12 more males almost ready to jar. nibbles and bettaluv, i've got fish for both of you. i'm taking next week off work so i'll have time then to sort things out. also nibbles, if you are around on friday night we can hook up (as long as you don't take the fish to the football game with you )

Sorry bkk! I'll see if I can get him! cuz my dad just got arthritis and I've been gtting him this stuff and that and he promised me a prize by the end of the week so by then, he'll be mine hopefuly

forgot about the football game part of it.. lol... the football game ends late.. probably at like 10:30pm .. wouldnt get to nvan till like 11pm.. im guessing thats too late... if it is, i can drive in on one of my days off (i usually work tuesday, thursday, sunday) so could probably come in friday of next week..
