That is very offensive.
I own a ranch. I take care of 16000 cattle every day, i have four horses, five dogs, eight cats, five american green tree frogs, a crested gecko, a bearded dragon, and they are all healthy and well taken care of!

The nitrogen cycle confuses me. Thats the only reason im not going to. And also i cant spend any extra money, or wait 2-3 months with an aquarium sitting full of water around. Im sorry.

My friends that have had aquariums and not cycled have had long success before.

ok obvisouly you know nothing about it, did you read the link? your fish will suffer and some will die because of ammonia ETC. Hey and get this if you cant care for the fish DONT GET THEM!!

Is cycling like cleaning out the tank regularly?

Im also sorry for any offensive things i have said. I honestly dont mean to be rude, i just get a little defensive when people talk to me like i dont know anything about the subject. I have my resources and have done my research.

I really just dont get cycling. Is there like a summary you can give me? Sorry for the inconvienience
I can care for fish. I wouldnt even consider getting them if i couldnt.

What people are telling you here is not being said to make things difficult for you, it is just facts. We can point you in the right direction what has been found to be best for the fish after years of research and experience. 
True, you don't need to follow the advice you have received, just be prepared that you may run into problems sooner rather than later! I hope you will read the info found in those links before you make your final decision. 
 
The nitrogen cycle is going to impact your life after you set up your tank and fill it with life forms whether you understand it or not. I don't mean this to sound mean, but it's true. 
The fish will produce waste, in the form of Ammonia. Any Ammonia in the water burns your fish's gills so you need to do lots and lots of water changes. You will also need to get a test kit to measure daily at least once!
 
After the filter has started to build up the first bacteria that converts the Ammonia into Nitrites you need again to do lots of water changes because that too is toxic for your fish.
After a while the filter will have both of these benficial bacteria and you end up with Nitrates in the tank. This you need to keep somewhere between 5 to 20 or so, and you only have to change 30 - 50 % of the water once a week.

Also, Meeresstille - You don't need to keep the nitrates so low. As long as it's below 50-80ppm you'll be fine

Ok. I have read the filter instructions, and apparentl it says it comes with

"The two benefitial types of bacteria that will make your tank happier and healthier for your fish"

So i think im good.

Thanks for summing it up for me. I have a hard time reading long things explaining things im not sure about

None of the filters or bottled bacterias work. They are all dead. The bacteria need a food source and waterflow which they don't get in a bottle on the shop shelf...

I might try just using the bacteria first.

As i said, my friend who the tank came from had the same filter, and she never lost a fish until she lost them all.

If i were to get other bacteria, how would i do so?
I am limeted to walmart and have no pet store around though to.

You could ask for some mature media from their filter to put in your filter. The bottled bacteria won't cycle your tank... It doesn't work... The filter will have been cycled but you've cleaned it haven't you?

The goldfish were fine! They were better off than they were before in a bowl and they lived out the rest of their lives healthy and happy!

The goldfish were not fine, they should have lived 20+ years not 3.
No disrespect but you say you are only 13, a lot of the advice you are being given is from people who have been keeping fish longer than you've been alive, they know what they're talking about.
You say you want the best for your fish & we don't want you back here in a couple of months asking why your fish died or are ill, so please listen to the advice you're being given now so that won't happen.
