My container is kinda small, less than one gallon. Each day i let my two female swim around together and for 2 weeks already there has been NO FIN NIPPING, NO ATTACKIN, NOTHING DANGEROUS! They swim together and even if one of the female tail brush against the other's face, the other female doesn't mind! Once I sell my Electric yellow cichlid I'm going to put the two female inside the 5 gallon hexagonal tank with filtration.

Mine go and comfort each other when a flaring male startles them. They're seperated right now though, because I'm trying to breed the DT.

I had 2 females in a 10g community when I first started with bettas. Both were juvies.

It worked out fine for about 2 monthes, no signs of aggression. Then one day, I found one of them dead, fins shredded. I know it wasn't the glowlight tetras, skunks cories or ottos. :/

Personally, I wouldn't keep multiple females in a tank less than 10g. I would also keep at least 5, to spread out aggression.

Awww, my girls Pertelot and Sealink used to be like that. Sadly, however, Pertelot (who had been sick since I got her) kept on having various health problems due to low immunity, so I had to take her out. Sealink was SO DEPRESSED. She sat at the bottom of the tank day and night, wouldn't eat, and had stress stripes all the time. I finally got them set up so their tanks were side by side and they could see each other, and that helped a bit, but eventually Pertelot passed away (not even sure why; she'd been doing beautifully for weeks and then one morning "crashed" and was dead by that night). Sealink now really likes Dickey Barett, her new neighbor and a male, but I would never dare to put them together (well, duh, but I mean not even to breed) as Dickey is super-agressive.
