I defentally dont want him to have a relapse so I will go slow on the feeding. Im going to add abit more water and watch him carefully to make sure he dosent have any trouble getting to the top. If he does I will take the extra water out.

Hes doing so much better! I can believe its the same betta I bought 7 days ago :) I really didnt think he was going to make it. This is my first rescue and I think Im doing a pretty good job!! His body is straight now and like I said before hes flaring!

I will post a pic when I can get a nice one. :D

Thanks everyone

Today is the last of the treatment of the maracyn that Twist is on. He seems better but I still see abit of faint white on his body - On both sides around the same spot. Is this a fungas or just his coloring?

Also how can you tell if he had fin rot? He seems like his front fins (i have no idea what there called, but there the long ones at the front of his body) are torn?? And his back fin (and i think his top fin) looks abit weird too..

Any help would be great! :)

With him dragging his body around like he was (I know how he did it because of Flop), it's no wonder if he has a little case of finrot going on. Flop had it pretty bad there for a while, but he has some really nice fin growth coming in on him now. Just keep his water clean and dosed with some aquarium salt, and it'll heal back in just fine.

As for the other question, could you get a picture to illustrate your point?

Ok so just add some aquarium salt and his fins should be good - Great! I can do that!

As for the picture, I can try to get a picture of the "faint white" but my camera is not that great... I will try though :)

Here is a picture of Twist that was taken yesterday. Again I dont know how to re size so im sorry. You can kinda see the faint white on him. Let me know what it is please.
