mum said no to one

how big do millapeades grow

what did she say no to? what would she say yes to?

tropical millipedes, depends what species you get, i don't know much
but you can get some that are about an inch in diameter and like a foot long!!
i can imagine they'd be amazing escape artists too.

she said no to the size of the tank they need & how long they live

i think she say yes to something not furry , lives no longer than 10 yrs , & can live in a 15gallon UK tank

what size tank do they need

 Awww I have two turltes, they are red eared slidders. Gala and Pagos!

They are very sweet, they are 8 years old, I got them when they were just under 4 months.
They are so easy to take care of, but you do have to give them a lot of love because then they will recognize you and listen to you.

I keep them in a tank, only filled just under half with water and then have rocks so they can just chill there. In the summer time (I live in Canada) I let them out in the backyard...(they have a pond there).
Also just to give them some more fun during the winter I put them in the tub filled with water so they can just swim around, and take them out of their tank daily to let them walk around.

They mostly eat their pellets, but for treats I give them apples, pear and peaches.
They are really amazing little creatures, and they are not slow as they have been stereotyped.

I do advise though, you do have to really take good care of them so they don't get sick, smelly or aggresive. If you really want them, you should really take your time doing your homework and be willing to spend a lot of money as they will grow out of small tanks.

Good luck if you decide getting them.
