Our turtle is about to get his own tank, does anyone know of fish that would live well with him. He is no a big guy yet and he is carnoverous.....he loves crickets and worms. There has been a Danio living with him for some time now. the only reason he hasnt eaten him yet is cause he cant catch him.

I personally don't know of any fish you can put in with him. Almost all aquatic turtles are piscivores (love eating fish). Even if he can not eat them he will take a chunk out of them if he gets the chance. Also it would help a little if we knew what kind of turtle it is....but I am sad to say he is probably a fish snacker.

If you don't care what fish are in the tank, I have rosy reds in mine from the bait and tackle. He does catch some of them, but they are cheap and easy to replenish. I think I get them for 85 cents a dozen.
